the calm after the storm .
soundtrack: people talking // thoughts: of the present
blogging at work experience because there’s not much to do. not that i expected they’d let me sell houses or anything, but since i get a computer, at least i can blog.
so what have i been doing? partying, sleeping, eating, partying.
dean’s party was good because everyone (save a few) got tipsy and let go of all their inhibitions. consequently i now have incriminating photographs of many of my friends. i put them on my msn space, not FACEBOOK, because i’m stubborn like that.
drunk people are hilarious. i think tipsy twister was the highlight of the night. apart from that, i didn’t do anything embarrassing (i think). the interesting thing was that a couple of not drunk people ended up doing some dodgy stuff too. i think it’s a case of monkey see, monkey do… monkey pee, monkey poo.
i don’t really know what i’m going to do after this week; everything is going to tone down, i think. no more busy scheduling and fitting heaps of stuff in one day. sit down, relax, get bored. and then there’s coffs and china, but still heaps of time in between.
something i’ve really wanted to do in a while is play sims. i was in eb games the other day, and i saw heaps of expansion packs that i haven’t seen, and it rekindled my passion for the game. i love that game. i love the control and the ability to create everything with the click of your mouse. i’m going to build villages and cities and families and defacto couples and communities. the only problem is that i’ve realised i only make beautiful people, consequently leading to my creations all looking the same but with different clothing.
i think it’s a psychological thing. i tried to make ugly people once, but it didn’t work out. i’m not very good at making people that look like real people either.
i guess i need to touch up my creative skills.
